Eve of Festa

Experience a centuries old local tradition. An evening full of music, lights and color. This annual religious event is hosted by every village and town throughout the Maltese islands, an event which attracts not only those who live there but thousands of visitors. Locals dress up in their best clothes, street hawkers sell nougat and other delicacies, and colorful lights decorate the village center and the village church. The local bands play as they pace slowly through the quaint alleys and colorful streets, all this builds up to a spectacular fireworks display at the end of an eventful day. An experience not to be missed.
