Island Of Gozo

A Walk Through 7000 Years Of Living History

Mgarr Bay

Island of Gozo. We start our day out to Gozo on a short ferry crossing which takes us to the picturesque harbor of Mgarr. You will immediately notice that Gozo is much greener than Malta and the pace of life is much slower, no wonder they call it "the island where time stood still". Our full day includes all the popular places you should visit including Victoria the island's capital and a tour of the citadel itself. Here the locals took refuge when Moslem pirates raided the island. The holy shrine of Ta' Pinu will certainly impress you, delve into religious history as we take you back in time. After lunch in the fishing village of Marsalforn we head west to Dwejra for the Inland Sea and the azure window, get your camera ready for some spectacular scenery.
