All-inclusive at the Hotel Fortina quite simply means that one can get a really incredible deal; all ice-creams and soft drinks are free; you'll get three meals a day (with complimentary wine); and all the local beers, wines and spirits in the hotel are free. Tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, the hotel Fortina provides comfort in abundance and is fully deserving of its four-sun rating. It enjoys a quiet situation at the end of Sliema's promenade with superb views across to Valletta, yet it is only a short walk to the shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Its amenities include six pools; two with surrounding terraces overlooking the sea, one in the garden and three indoor; sunloungers and parasols; pool side bars also serve snacks. Four restaurants; buffet, international (a la carte available). Mediterranean style and BBQ (Jun to Sep). Three bars, including cocktail bar and 24-hour tea/coffee bar. International standard supervised fitness centre includes indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage parlour, solarium, aerobics room and fully equipped gym.

Extensive entertainment includes live music and dancing. For children - section of pool; high chairs; early meals and babyminding available on request; cots free.

Rooms with 2/3 beds with full bathroom. Rooms also with balcony and seaviews. Superior rooms (some have double bed) with satellite TV, coffee-making facilities, trouser press, minibar, video player and balcony (or patio doors and French balcony) with seaview; Deluxe rooms with more luxurious furnishings and two double beds; and single rooms are all available for a supplement.

Standard Rooms: Two types of Standard Rooms are available, interior and seaview, all with private bath or shower, air-conditioning, central heating, radio, television, direct dail telephone and non-stocked mini bar.

Superior Rooms: All Superior Rooms are furnished to high standards with private bathroom, air-conditioning, central heating, radio, direct dail telephone, television/video, free use of video library, tea and coffee facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, mini-bar stocked with water, wine, soft drinks and beer. Superior Suites are also available.

Deluxe Rooms: Finished to a high De Luxe standard with queen size beds all with private bathroom, air-conditioning, central heating, radio, direct dail telephone, television/video, free use of video library, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, mini-bar stocked with water, wine, soft drinks and beer. ACCOMMODATION: Bedrooms range from Standard, Superior to De Luxe. Superior Suites and De Luxe Suites are also available for those who really want to spoil themselves.

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and any snack during the day are included and served in 3 different restaurants where a large selection of various menus is available. You can choose to dine at our Buffet Restaurant or at one of our Speciality Restaurants with full waiter service. >From June to September there is a further choice of a daily barbecue.

BEVERAGES: 3 Bars in Winter and 4 Bars in Summer serving FREE spirits, wine, sparkling wine, cocktails, beers, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

SNACKS: Snacks are served in the Garden pool and at the Lido.

CHILDREN'S CLUB: May to October three times a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for children between the ages of 7 and 12 years from 9 a-m- to noon. Fun and games for the kids. Special children's meals are served.

THALASSO THERAPY SPA : The Fortina has an exclusive Thalasso Therapy Spa specialising in treatments using concentrated sea-water giving you 3 times more benefits per treatment than any other Thalasso Spa. This centre uses the latest and most modern techniques and is run by qualified physiotherapists who supervise programmes. Residents on all inclusive terms have special discounted rates for Thalasso programmes and 2 free Thalasso Pool Treatments per day.

BEAUTY THERAPY: The Fortina offers all types of beauty therapy treatments. Prices on request.

PHYSIOTHERAPY & REHAB: The Fortina has a state of the art physiotherapy centre.

7 SWIMMING POOLS: 2 outdoor swimming pools (sea water) situated on the water's edge in our private lido. 2 outdoor garden pools (fresh water). 3 indoor heated pools, one of which is concentrated sea water for Thalasso treatments.

SPORTS: 1 large aerobics, Mini-Golf and bowls Court. Sports Programme: Daily activities are organised by professional instructors: waterpolo, pool volley ball, bowls, ml golf, jogging, walking and various aerobic sessions.

SCUBA DIVING: 1 FREE lesson for beginners is included (May to October). Paddle boats and windsurfers are available during the Summer months at the lido.

EXCURSIONS: For your added relaxation and to enable you to discover Malta further we have organised the following excursions:

• One and a half hour Harbour Cruise with full guided commentary will enable you to discover Malta's famous historic Grand Harbour.
• Sensational Underwater Safari to discover the wonders of the world beneath the sea offering superb views of the sea-bed.
• From May to October we have included 2 Full Day Boat trips to discover Malta's interesting coastline, taking you to the Island's nicest bays and beaches. The boat trips include a delicious buffet with FREE beer, wine and soft drinks.

ENTERTAINMENT: Daytime activities and evening programmes.

DRESS CODE: Casual clothing during the daytime, however, in the restaurants, shoes are to be worn, bathing suits are to be covered and gentlemen are not allowed to wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. In the evenings we become slightly more formal.
