Private Villas and Farmhouses
Nowadays, more and more people are searching
for the exclusivity, freedom and flexibility that a villa holiday
offers. For most, the notion of staying in an individually
selected private villa with the use of one's own pool, on a 'get
away from it' vacation is not too far removed from
paradise.
With our private villa and farmhouse collection, you can choose from many different properties, all with their own individual characteristics. However remote some of the properties may appear to be, all are fully serviced and equipped with electricity or gas, supplied with bed linen, bathroom towels and kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery ... and, most, a private pool.
Private Pools
All properties with private pools are regularly cleaned and maintained by local companies. The descriptions are carefully compiled to give as much information on the pools as possible. Some, for example, may not be suitable for young children. Others have paddling sections, designed specifically with children in mind. We strongly advise you to bear in mind safety. It is a good idea to identify the deep and shallow ends of the pool on your immediate arrival.
Villa and Farmhouse Occupancy
The maximum number of clients that can comfortably occupy a villa or farmhouse is indicated in the relevant prroperty description. It may be possible in some circumstances to either add another sharer (with an extra bed) or accommodate less sharers than indicated. In both cases, please contact us for assistance.
Car Hire
In most cases, we consider car hire to be essential. Even at properties that are conveniently located in the resort, a hire car will be a welcome facility, making trips to local supermarkets much easier. Furthermore, it provides you with the opportunity to explore the many places of interest. Such freedom and independence is an integral part of a villa holiday. In some exceptional circumstances, car hire may not be considered essential. In such instances, taxi transfers may be arranged for you. The cost of these transfers will vary, depending upon the location of the villa. For further details, please contact us.
Maid Service
Maid service is provided in all our properties. As a minimum, you will receive a weekly clean, towel and linen change. However, in certain properties, you are likely to receive a more regular service, depending on the local arrangements. Ask for full details of the cleaning schedules for each and every property.
Grocery Packs
On arrival at your destination, you may be provided a grocery pack, if you so wish. The purpose of this is to supply you a few essential provisions to help you settle in before embarking to the local shop. Contact us for details of cost.
Malta
Most of the private villas in Malta are in
the Santa Maria Estate of Mellieha. Mellieha has possibly the
best sandy beach on the Island. It offers the best of both
worlds, consisting of the resort area which contains all the
amenities and entertainment of a popular Mediterranean resort,
coupled with the residential areas of Santa Maria and Kortin
which are on the ridge leading into the village. One can
therefore either chose to remain in the tranquillity of the villa
and enjoy the views over the bay or go into the resort itself and
enjoy the beach, plentiful watersports, the bars and the
restaurants.
Gozo
Gozo, less than half the size of Malta, is
an excellent choice for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The Gozitans
are cheerful and friendly and you'll soon find yourself adapting
to their easy-going lifestyle. In our accommodation on Gozo
you'll be tempted to stay put, simply soaking up the atmosphere
and scenery. Gozo is the place to unwind and recapture the
flavour of the Mediterranean style of yesteryear. Gozo can be
reached either by ferry - the trip lasts twenty minutes and the
ferryboats have bars and toilets on board. On the way one sees
also the little island of Comino. One can also cross over to Gozo
by helicopter - the flight takes about ten minutes and is over
